and one of the best reasons not to get out to argybargy over something.
There are lots of people out there who really don't think there will be consequences to their actions, and to whom "face" is everything. Regardless of whether they are in the right or wrong.
Whatever happened, you will be in the wrong for not showing them respect.

I've already said don't get yourself into bother. But sometimes you have no choice.
I am struggling to follow that so much I'm now wondering if you called me a
. Certainly not calling you anything...the last sentence is the erroneous driver's attitude.
If someone is willing to pull a gun on a cop car for a pub brawl then what would they do to a
non-uniformed member of the public?
With the level of drug dealing and associated crime round some areas, there are vehicles that are tooled up - possible a gun, most likely a baseball bat or crowbar. Even if unarmed it quickly becomes a baying crowd and the odds change against you.
What we see regularly are normally mild-mannered people who lose complete control.
The consequences for them could be fines, even imprisonment. Maybe lose their job, house, family.
Yet they forget all that in order to have a pop at someone.
Now think about the attitude of someone who doesn't have much to lose and doesn't care either.

But mostly my examples are pukes in cars thinking they are thugs when they aren't. But I've dealt with thugs too.
