This is around the corner from me, cannot see properly in person, or Streetview, I saw it with the gate open once, there's at least a Peugeot 309, old Escort(Mk3) and possibly a Fiesta MK2.

You get a better idea from the sky, the bits around the cars are old washing machines and the like.

No idea on the backstory or history unfortunately

Edit to add just noticed April 2012 gives a better view, so there's a Nova and a Renault 19, I think the red car in the 2016 view is the Mondeo that has managed to be put in to die.

Like the Volvo always wondered how it got there. People must have asked because it had a sign in the window.

FD3S RX-7, this is on the next street to where I live and it has been there for as long as I have lived there, never moved, I'd take a guess that the engine went and they couldn't afford to repair it

Pangbourne, Berks - There's a couple of Ford Cougars and a Rancho here too now!

I came here to post this! Live just around the corner, the Citroen has never moved in years, and the two cougars appeared over the last 5 years too.
I was also looking to see if this had been posted. Been driving for over 10 years and remember seeing this on the way to reading for years before that. Now the missus drives past this on her way to work and I ask every now and then if it's still there. No idea why it's been kept there for so long
Always wondered this myself, amazing really that the first car was left to rot then more added over the years, wonder what the thinking is behind it?
When I first noticed it, I always wondered why the owner parked it in the bush. Took me a while to realise it was abandoned. It looked in good condition 12 years ago! Also surprised, given the amount of money in that area, that the neighbours haven't kicked off and had it removed

Shame about that RX-7.

I just remembered a Porsche that had been sitting on the drive near to my girlfriends for a decade, was originally on axel stands and looks like it was being worked on then steadily accumulated lots of moss and was used for storing junk, last year it was moved off the drive into the garden but I've just checked it now and it's vanished frown
I think the owners moved out, I wonder what happened to the car.

Ironic, He probably doesnt realise decent rx7's are 10k now.

In 08 they were 2.5-3k, I would take a gamble it went around then.

Thanks!
Took me a moment to figure out how it'd been taxed so long after the MOT expired... Of course, it was a SORN (or two) that expired. Ah, memories...

Another one not a million miles.

Taxed and MOT'd but I've never seen it move and it always is full of crap.

Date of first registration: 06 July 1999 suggests it's imported - it's M reg.

It's a Pajero Turbo Intercooler 2800.
Definitely an import. UK-spec had lights in the rear bumper.
Clever clogs! wink
The little mirror on the nearside front wing and the Pajero name indicate a Japanese import as well. The Shogun name was used in Europe because Pajero means wker in Spanish and Portuguese.

This Land Rover 110' has been in this position for the 15 years that we've lived near Wokingham, with caravan in tow, gradually disappearing further into the undergrowth each year. It's in a reasonably prominent position so I'm amazed that it hasn't been snapped up by someone:

It's this Mercedes 250CE, next door to my sister-in-law's house, that's got me itching to do some front door knocking. Apart from being a bit green, it looks fairly tidy (from a distance) and complete. According to Google Maps, it wasn't there in 2008 but was in 2014:

Nobody wants the Landy, it's 110 feet long. hehe

By the look of that front grill, it's pre 90/110 and might be a series 109" to my unskilled Landy beard
At newest it's a series IIA, more likely a series II or maybe even a series I. Latest it could be is late 60's early 70's. My Land Rover memory is not what it was but that is older than me ('73) smile.

Worth a few quid in parts, the chassis and bulkhead are probably rotten but still, someone would rebuild it.

Doesn't look abandoned on streetview but this heavily winged Nissan is now sitting on its rims surrounded by leaves.

Not near the longest suffering car in this thread but my neighbour has this transporter and its not moved a wheel since 2010 im told. Iv had at least 2 people a year ask me if they can buy it but she never answers the door. When i see her we get on really well so might ask if she will sell it to me so i can get it some help.

Cant figure out how to link it but its Broxton roundabout on A41.

The thread wouldn't be complete without that house on the Shoreham/Hove seafront with a fine collection of vintage Skodas...

This CX is now practically at one with nature. Spotted near Kilmainham in Dublin (streetview 2014):

And this was it during summer 2016 when I first saw it:
Gone now, moved at some point during the summer, can't find a link to what happened but do remember there was little information as to where it went.

Local's were disappointed as it had become a local landmark.
