Looks like 1992 K plate. That grill and vent below the number plate makes me think Maserati. It's close but I'm doubting myself - number plate location for a start...

I can't see much resemblance there, sadly.

Somebody clearly knows the future prices of MK2 Astra's.

From a Facebook group - don't know if it's been posted before and no, I'm not going back dozens of pages/volumes to check -

That is such a confusing photo...

On one hand - I'm thinking, fair play to who ever owns that house - they obviously love the Mk2 Astra

Yet on the other hand it screams mental heath alert!.. not a single 'body coloured bumper in sight'... what a dismal collection of scrap.

That's Banbury and they've all gone now. Just a couple of old scrappers on the driveway now and neither a Vauxhall

Which parts are shared with the M100?

That's a shame, a car like that shouldn't be left to ruin.

This feels like art when looking back in years to come... the demise of the roaring ICE/V8 aside the new era of EVs (the audi).

In which case there's probably an interesting story behind that!

Spotted on the dog walk this morning. Going by the MOT history it only ran out in Aug, but failed on lots of rust.

That's reminiscent of a silver Monaro in Colchester which, for a time, was subject to a similar fate. The car spent several years at the back of someone's drive, tucked up next to the house, and looked to be in the early stages of decline. Happily, however, it seems to have been put back into service by the family. One day, it appeared at the end of the drive and has since been spotted driving about. Perhaps the owners realized that Monaros are now worth something; they seem to be one of those cars that spent a few years in the doldrums, value-wise.

There could be hope for that one!
