These two haven't turned a wheel for at least 10 years.

Mad, the one on the right is a 54 plate, only a couple years old when it came off the road.

Nice bear.

The 7 Series is on early DB7 alloys.

Do we think the 7 series is a genuine AC Snitz?
Nope.

This Land Rover 110' has been in this position for the 15 years that we've lived near Wokingham, with caravan in tow, gradually disappearing further into the undergrowth each year. It's in a reasonably prominent position so I'm amazed that it hasn't been snapped up by someone:

It's this Mercedes 250CE, next door to my sister-in-law's house, that's got me itching to do some front door knocking. Apart from being a bit green, it looks fairly tidy (from a distance) and complete. According to Google Maps, it wasn't there in 2008 but was in 2014:

Nobody wants the Landy, it's 110 feet long. hehe

By the look of that front grill, it's pre 90/110 and might be a series 109" to my unskilled Landy beard
Dammit! As a died-in-the-wool apostrophe pedant, I can't believe that I've caught myself out with one! banghead

Of course, I've subsequently corrected my original post so now it just looks like you've misquoted me to score an easy point! wink

There's a good one for this thread a few streets away from me.

The house doesn't look like it's been touched for many, many, maaaany years (but i think someone does still live there)

The streetview is from 2010, but i remember that the wooden bits around it used to actually be a wooden garage which has collapsed over time.

To me it looks like a small van. Or a car with a van body on the back? Anyone got any ideas what it is?

I've lived here for 30 years and to my mind, it's always been there. The house is also the only one out of any of them still with it's original windows etc.

We're talking a serious number of years here.

If we know what the van is, might give us an idea of timings, etc.

Anyone got any ideas about this one? I know it's a bad angle but its the best i can get.

These (Merc C Class, Merc 70's 280 SE?, Transit)haven't moved for a long time, probably 10 years plus.

These two granada estates have been outside this house since at least September 1998.

This house seems to have a rotating inventory of 50's british cars - they usually look pretty tatty but must actually be runners:

What I assume is a Merc breakers in Rushden, there has been old Merc's parked along the verge here for as long as I can remember. Usually half covered by bushes or a car cover that has been on so long its half rotted away. It actually looks quite tidy when these street view pics were taken!
Carry on along the road to the roundabout looking left to see them all

Next door to me, this 924 was a daily until it was parked one day about 4 years ago and hasn't moved an inch since.
It's now full of junk and very faded, it's also starting to look quite green.

Not too far from me in an abandoned old garage..

Here's a quote.
BurtonMail.co.uk said:
Grenville Isham, who owns the former Jetberg Garage, in Castle Road, confirmed it would be bulldozed in the future, but would not give a reason for the delay, adding he hoped it would not be too long.

It comes after Mr Isham previously asked for more time before the demolition, as he had suffered two family tragedies in a short amount of time.

The garage, which was abandoned with cars locked inside, is often referred to as being 'stuck in time'.

It has been closed since 2002, but cars from the early 1990s still sit on its forecourt covered in dust.
For many years, Mr Isham has been asked when something will happen at the site. Several plans have been submitted to South Derbyshire District Council to use the site for homes, but none have yet come to fruition.
Mr Isham, of Hall Lane, Willington, had been continuing to trade there – one car at a time – but the selling dried up several years ago and the site has fallen into disrepair.

In 2010, the Mail reported that an application to build 14 homes on the site had been one of the longest running at the authority.
So,

where's my bearding points?

st, I met that fella a couple of times. Don't forget an unusual name like that! I was working for a confectionery supplier and he was running a business for prisoners where they would get a catalogue of perks in return for good behaviour. He said he wanted to buy a few pallets of chocolate from us but never followed up after opening an account. Bit of an oddball, IIRC he had a fairly grandiose family history.

Crikey, what street is that?
Wow. Not a million miles from me. Tempted to go have a look!
All gone if you move around in maps. The images change between June 2011 and Sept 2016. The boarded up house, which I assume was where the owner lived, is now looking revamped.

309 Gti. I spoke to the owner a few years back but no intention of selling. House looks tidy from the outside but I recall it being full of clutter and boxes etc from what I could at the front door. I understand it's still sat there. Google maps shows it was there in 2009.
