Gen 1 RX7 that I don't believe has been moved for at least 8 years...

I hope the Audi that was next to it went to a better place...

Looks like they got it MoT'd but it expired on 12 October 2016 again.

On the subject of RX7s, this one has been left to rot in an apartment car park.

It was around 2 years ago when I first saw it, and as far as I know it's still there looking quite dilapidated. I'll try get a pic next time I'm there.

Seems to be a clear three way split here...

Old normal cars outside bungalows where the owner has got too old to drive = sad
Enthusiasts who think they might one day get that heap back on the road = just sell it while you can, stop devaluing the neighbourhood.
People who like living in a scrap yard = Think of your neighbours you selfish unsocial fools.

Always remember seeing a 2 door range rover when I visited my aunts house when I was younger. Was always parked in exactly the same spot and she never said she saw it move at all. God knows how long it's actually been there!

Used to see a white Ax GT abandoned in a small village. Last saw it maybe 10 years ago,and it had been there years then. Not sure if still there.

When I'm back down that way near xmas I will have a drive past.

From what I read about a minority of them, they have no intention of ever moving the car again and their attitude seems to be "ner-ner, I've got it and you haven't!"

There's a Renault 21 turbo near me, it's been there at least 15 years. Every time I see it I think I'd love to have a good poke about and see if it could be saved. Only trouble is the owners lad chopped someone up a few years back so I daren't enquire further. rofl

No photo, it's set back from the road on the brow of a steep/blind left hander. You blink and you miss it, doubt most people know it's there. Will try and get one next time I'm passing.

These 3 have only just moved from where they were. Had a poke around them, capri was rotten but the 2 supra's looked ok. A house is being built there now so not a clue where they are now frown

Wow, can't believe I just saw that picture. That Capri was there for ever, the Supra ended up parked behind it. Quite shocked when I saw them gone just because they had been there so long.

There's an old Punto Sporting near to my parents place. The guy who owned it, was forever tinkering with it. It had a drag strip number painted on the rear screen, so he obviously used it regularly.

AFAIK it's sat unused for at least 5 years+. Its covered in mould, tyres gone flat. I haven't seen the owner either in that time. Odd that his parents whose house it is haven't had it scrapped. So I'm guessing one of 3 things.

1) He's died
2) He's moved to a different country
3) He's in Prison
