I've walked past this for a good few years now, with it getting greener and greener with moss. According to streetview it's been here since 2009, pic is from streetview in 2014.

Recognised that straight away! Just down the road from me! I wonder if they're interested in selling it!! Make a nice little run about!!

Has been sat outside of this house longer than I can remember. Shame, it's an early 4 door and would make a nice car for someone, despite the state it's currently in.

Saw this abandoned one today. From the surroundings i guess it was left in a panic.

According to the guys on the RRC thread, the early 4-doors will be the next big (as in, valuable) thing. People can't afford the 2d any more, and the later 4d are a different animal really.

I'm sure there used to be 2 E55 AMG's here for years, now there's just 1, and a few others.

Also this 205 GTI has been sat for ages

I've enjoyed this thread, not massively different to the '...Left to die' thread, but certainly more variety and less arguing! For me a 'modern' car that's been abandoned can be more interesting than an elderly one

I am a bit of a spotter, so know many suitable cars to post - it still surprises how many are out there, even those you pass day to day without a thought until you have a slightly more detailed look, realise that it's perhaps not moved in a while and question how long it's been there.

..Not the case with this one, I deliberately went down this road to see if there was anything interesting.

The Frontera, there since 2008.

That GTI is down the road from where my friend lives in Westcross and I drive past it often, someone has told me that has been there in total for 10+ years. I was going to buy it as a project since apparently, the car needs to be gone relatively soon and it would've gone cheap due to the condition. Like most cars that have been standing, it needs a lot done and I decided against it (new rear axle, car has a civilisation of its own inside and out). If you look in the different years on Street View, there is also a Metro alongside with it.

There are quite a lot of interesting abandoned/cars being used on the drives up there, if you're local keep an eye out for a guy with a few hot rodded cars. I think he has a Morris Minor that has been chopped about a bit, too.
