I don't know what experience you've had of him, but having met him several times when he's been out in one of his cars, he is very nice, has time for fans that want a photo, and even let a little kid sit in his TDF the morning he picked it up...

In fairness I don't see the logic in driving it around central London, certainly not when if you also own and split your time between London and a massive LA mansion where there is year round sunshine and many roads within a short drive that could put most of Britains best driving roads to shame.

I know where I'd rather be in an open top V12 Ferrari, especially if I was fortunate enough to also have the coupe to drive in the comparatively drab, grey, wet UK. ??

Oh, so serious... and even if someone were picky enough to raise the issue the fine would be how much? Certainly far less than most bottles of decent wine I would guess... In reality, how many times a day would we all break the law in one way or another driving one of these???
