He doesn't know what he's on about.

Depreciation wise it will be very strong also. Ford don't bring out an RS car until late into a models life so a mk4 will be several years down the line and the mk3 will still hold firm as being the best RS ever made.
I can't comment weather it's the best ever RS but I can't see why a new model would come out so soon and I also agree residuals will be respectable .

What's the diff issue if any ? Not heard any complaints before Tks

Yes google that, you will find that being on track and doing lap after lap in drift mode driving sideways will eventually shut down the awd system until it cools down unless you add an oil cooler. This is to protect the systems components. Nothing that will ever happen in road driving.

To ise it as a full on track car you would have to make some modifications as with almost any road car.

Who pays RRP ? There were several dealers knocking ST1's out at under £15k anyway. Good luck with the residuals on yours when Ford update the next one and sort out the diff issues...
When talking of margin comparison - use RRP on both examples
Fiesta ST discounted from day one, Focus RS price has increased once the early adopters signed up

Diff issues - interesting seeing as the car has an open diff on the front and hasn't really got a diff at the rear RDU and clutch packs which there are no issues with currently

Hi.

My dads Focus RS has the standard seats. We couldn't order then with heated option. Are you in the Uk or in the states? I hear the states can order heated but for some reason we couldn't.

After a 250 mile country blast (twice now..) I did not come away thinking I needed better seats than standard. I think the uprated seats are "must have" for some people but without any real understanding why they are "must have". If the stock seats were st then I'd hear the point but they are very good and I am very happy with them.

Cheers

The "Winter Pack" which has Heated seats (standard seats only) and a Heated steering wheel has only been made available in the past few months for order, I think it co-incides with Sync 3 release also.

Cheers.
