If circumstances are right, a car will flip over surprisingly easily. This has got to be the most hilariously low speed, almost spontaneous flip out there.

All I can hear is "Women, know your place" (sorry)

That's such terrible driving. I can't imagine how drunk you'd have to be to make such a hash of parking a car.

It seems that the trend for short wheelbase, tall cars means that many modern cars are prone to falling over. One of my mates rolled a MINI on oxford street doing about 15mph, a sprinter van pulled out in front of him, due to the very short front overhang on a MINI the front wheel basically drove up the side of the van and the car ended up on it's roof.

Likewise I saw a little Peugeot roll on the M25, car pulled in front of the Peugeot who I don't think was paying 100% attention, driver over reacted and swerved, got into a bit of a tank slapper, car ended up on it's side in the middle lane.

A simple impact with the crash barrier can do it. Modern crash barriers don't tend to start with a stump (because crashing into a block of steel would hurt), they rise up from the ground. .
I don't think that is correct - they used to have a ramp up, but now they have a yellow / black stump?

Hitting the brakes following a high speed blow out is likely to result in a tumble as the wheel with the flat will just lock up and dig in.

Someone rolled right next to me once.

On A194 heading towards Whitemare Pool (if anyone knows it), on work one morning. Was a cold, slightly frosty morning...but nothing seemingly out of the ordinary....

I was behind a Yaris, travveling approx 60mph and as the road opened out, we suddenly began to both drift on black ice, unreal sensation of complete lack of control. I didn't steer or brake and just eased off very slightly and tried to keep facing forward, Yaris driver must have panic-braked, car skidded at 90 degrees across the lane and onto the grass verge, where it dug in and rolled alongside me approx 6 times, It was unreal and seemed to be in slow motion!

it took me a long time to get my car stopped down the road and others were coming to the drivers aid already, ii think she was alright as the car mainly kept it's shape, despite the huge damage.

Unreal thing to feel and see happening feet away from you!

Its quite easy to do - my brother knows!

Also I have seen a sprinter van fall on its side turning a 90degree bend at about 10mph, rear wheel went up the kerb, too much steering input and it went over really slowly mind, it was like a slow motion crash.

I drive the road in the photo linked below daily, I'm not sure if it's possible to reach more than 20mph along here, and this guy didn't hit anything (apart from presumably the kerb) yet...

As an aside, using Facetime, got a £180 fine and 5 points.

So its actually quite easy then judging by those youtube clips, I always thought you'd have to be really trying to get a car on to its roof but it seems not that hard at all to make them fall over!

Seriously, he was so uninterested in driving that he thought he would Facetime his friend at the same time?

It's more likely that it will cause the steering to snap to full lock. Assuming it's on the front.

Can we take it that you aren't studying English at college?
Can we take it that you were bullied at college?

And got away with it because he needs his car to drive 5 miles to work!

On a modern car it's more likely to be a fault, or hitting something, than merely a big swerve on a flat road.
Yep, many years ago followed a road rage incident watching when unfolded, cars were pulling away (easily) from the rest of the 70mph traffic and the car in front brake checked the following one. Estimated speed would have been 90 and the following Focus went into a long, sideways slide along the dual carriageway. Lots of tyre smoke but never touched anything and stayed rubber side down.

Somebody had a far worse morning than you did

You are traveling at 32 m second in a ton plus weight. That's a lot of energy, and when it goes off track it won't end well.

Just hope the occupants are ok, it's not a nice way to crash
