Nice but needs bigger wheels, they look a little lost, fill those arches up........................
Agreed. They also need a chunkier design - they're far too delicate and spindly for the rest of the car.

I'd have one over an SL for sure, what a great looking thing. Interior is fantastic as well.

I was lucky enough to borrow an RCF for 4 days in January of this year while my GT86 was being borrowed back by the dealer and the engine is fantastic.

It does sound heavy but what is this competing with? The SL's of this world?

Had a Lexus for a couple of months now, nothing as nice as that just an IS but they do kind of grow on you in a subtle "no fuss" way.

That thing looks very nice smile

Indeed. I was pondering the other day whether Lexus now occupy the place in the market that SAAB used to.

Interesting! Never made that connection, but now that you mention it I can see why you would think it.

Piece title of 'has Lexus's moment finally come?' entirely unfair. They've given us the LFA, anything more than that is a bonus for this decade.

Awesome looking thing. Bloody nose too the designers at Audi, BMW etc....

Well done Lexus
Lexus schooling Mercedes how to design an interior.

Alfa Romeo, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Merc 5-way group test would be really interesting to read.

I don't fancy the chances of Audi and BMW in such a test.

Oddly Saab are one of two marques I've ever owned twice, they kind of grow on your too smile

I think Lexus fill the "something different" gap quite nicely - I've no experience of the fast/expensive stuff but at the IS end of things the German stuff is just everywhere whilst I can go a week without seeing another IS, lots of CT's though.

Quite nice. But why does it weigh 500 kg more than it should? In the end it's the same formula as a Mustang or Porsche 928 - 5.0 V8 front engine GT. Those 19xx kg empty are way over the top.

I like the exterior but then I'm a fan of the coupe design in general. The interior though, er... no thanks, the two design just don't gel to me. The exterior is largely full of flowing lines, smooth surfaces melding into one another (I even rather like the corporate nose on this), the interior? slabs and angles, just not my thing I'm afraid.

Have a very soft spot for Lexus after owning an ISF, which was wonderful. Nearly bought an RCF a couple of months ago, still regretting not doing that. This is lovely too - suspect colour and wheel choice (and getting rid of the tinted rear windows) will make a big difference to how it looks - but for me, I think it's great. Special interior too. Perhaps when the kids finish Uni.
Also had an ISF (for 4 years) and love the looks of this.

Different is good - standing out from the crowd is never a bad thing!
