64bhp of 1.2Tdi 3L (The rare one) with all my windsurfing kit for a "quick" daytrip to Cornwall

I managed a speeding ticket which included a 7 day driving holiday with this set up! Beat that hehe

A couple of 4mtr lengths of chevron timber in France , thankfully the builders merchants is only a few mins away and there's a quiet back road !
Sorry if it's upside down

Back in about 1970, when I was young enough to know better, and before we took photos of everything we did, I managed to get one of these:

into one of these:

well, mostly in it. Nearly half of it was hanging out the back. Drove it over the then new Severn Bridge to Dave Dickinson's garage in Tintern, the only place in the UK at the time that could fix BMW motorbikes. I stopped in Chepstow to ask a policeman (remember them?) for directions. He never batted an eyelid.

I managed to fit a kids KTM mx bike across the back seats of my 996 turbo.
Bought from the roadside 200 miles away whilst visiting parents in South Wales. Couldn't resist buying it, pissed out petrol everywhere all the way home too.

I recognised Chobham from the early 90s series Young Driver of the Year - anyone else remember that?

I don't remember that, but I recognise part of it from when I went to a club rally event there. Watching cars go up the ramps and taking off at the top was very entertaining.
