Friday night topic - Optimal number of gears for a PH car?

I do wish more cars were geared like this in the first 3. Triple digits just to max a car out in 3rd isn't ideal from a licence point of view. That's before you even get to some of the modern stuff that'll do 80+ in second gear.

What cars will actually top out at 85 or below in third?

For me, a manual 6 gears.
Auto, 8.

6 for me, 6th is the cruising gear in between finding fun roads.
