Bernie did so much good for the sport and many other people, but over 40 yrs it'll be his last 20 that most will remember him by, and those were not so great. Not that the institutions in Paris are showered in glory either...
Max is a good friend and now spends his time with NCAP providing consumer information on the safety of new cars. Euro NCAP is the European New Car Assessment Programme making your cars safer.

Hi Michael went into the office last week and my copy had arrived...put it in my bag and forgot about it until last night, picked it up and read it cover to cover.
I remember one story from years ago ,but the rest of the book was new to me, an enjoyable read .

Michael, I remember your posts/garden party from when I had my Elise Sport135 and lived in Essex. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get along to any meets due to being busy with young kids, but I am back in Lotus ownership now the kids have grown up a bit with this Elan plus2. Looking forward to getting the books!
