RE: Subaru Impreza Turbo: Spotted
Discussion
I had a totally original 1999 'V' plate estate about 2 or 3 years ago.
Had only done 90,000 miles and apart from slightly crusty rear arches was really good condition.
Struggled to sell it for £1200 to thereabouts. The guy who purchased it bought a 'mechanic' mate with him, who did some weird things with the clutch to make the car stall, as part of a test he decided that would establish the life left in the clutch. Hmmm.
Not the best way to treat a car when 20 minutes later it come to the haggling.

It's failed.
Fuel and brake pipes needed and leaking fuel tank...
Done the rear brake lines on mine, bit of a pig as they run through the car and over the fuel tank but sounds like the tank may have to come out anyway. Confirm it is the tank and not the filler neck, these are prone to rusting through.Fuel and brake pipes needed and leaking fuel tank...

Don't know if there is a repalcement plastic tank available anywhere or just see if possible to repair/patch the tank.
