Great year again Tony! thumbup

I always look forward to the Shed posts on Fridays, but was a bit worried when I saw the MX-5 photo - but there isn't one in the top 10 thankfully!

Someone said the Ovlov wins hands down in power - is 250 bhp in a FWD estate car really going to be that much better than 231 bhp in a RWD Coupe - I doubt it!

Pink 330Ci for me thanks!

Looking forward to next Friday already! laugh

Shed of the week is a PH highlight, as are mentions of Mrs Shed.

The Metro Chairman is my favourite from that top 10 - could be used as a garden shed, or greenhouse!
Shame there isn't a prize for calling shed of the year before it was fashionable: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

It stands head and shoulders above the rest. It outshines them. They are candles, and it is the midday sun. If they were art, they'd be Thomas Kinkade and it would be da Vinci. They're village idiots; it is Einstein. They're Canned Heat and it's Jimi Hendrix. The Metro is a turd - but it's a fresh turd, and the rest are stale. Or... hmm, maybe it's the other way round? Just what sort of turd tastes better, anyway. Maybe that wasn't the best comparison. But whatever sort of turd you like in your sandwich, you have to admit that the Chairman is awesome, and the rest are boring. Boring as fk.

The power delivery of the T5 is very different to the 330i, it'll probably have more torque at most points in the rev range and in all likelihood would be usefully quicker because of it. I know which one would entertain more off the straights though, if they weren't both completely knackered old sheds with tired suspension hehe

Dear Shed

Thanks for the fantastic read. I have to read a lot of stuff everyday. Much of it shyte. Your column is the highlight of my reading week. Always a really enjoyable piece. I have even got my non petrol head work colleagues reading it too just because they enjoy how you write. Happy new year to you and thank you again.

Is the 330i deliver most of its power at higher revs?

BMW would be my choice.
Looks like the MOT ran out on the 17th December and hasn't been renewed.
Shame!
