Hardly see any Jag saloons now (XJ / XF / XE) , out of favour and replaced with the SUVs (F pace etc.) I guess
E class and C class estates used to be popular round here, again replaced by SUVs
Lotus elise and Toyota MR2 - become too collectible?
Subaru Impreza - guessing replaced by BMW M / AMG / RS

I think it's been decades since I last saw the once ubiquitous Nissan Bluebird.

Yep, a year since I posted this and I haven't seen one in the meantime...

A bit older than many of the cars on this thread, but Nissan Bluebirds used to be everywhere and then seemed to disappear overnight. My BiL ran one for years, I borrowed it one weekend but have no memory of what it was like. The picture is one I found on the web, my BiL's was brown. Wasn't this the one built in Sunderland?

I think they were supposed to be very well made so maybe they were a victim of the scrappage scheme?

Honda CRV, both the 98 on gen 1 and the 04 gen 2 models.
First gen quite rare too in NI ( though in-law has a 1999 one in gold-yellow that just keeps going ) but second gen still common and trading at strong prices. 2007 one locally with 120k miles just went for £3k, they have a good reputation.

Very few Corsa C and Vectra C left here now.

Hundreds of them in North Devon.

That seems true to me too, although I never did see so many of the XE.

I wonder if it's exacerbated by them having been the sort of car to be driven a lot when they were newer and the ones left not getting out so much.

They were definitely popular.

According to Howmanyleft, they went from 45,851 in 1995 to 5,900 in 2005. 40,000 disappeared in just 10 years. That's before the scrappage scheme I think.

One of the other drivers where I work picked up a Citroën c7 as a part ex on a car he delivered. Still a genuinely striking car.

The weird bum Mk2 Meganes all seem to have disappeared. They suffered electrical gremlins with the rear lights.

Peugeot 206s would have their brake lights stuck on.

Renault Meganes would have the rear indicators on solidly until the driver indicated, then the indicators would go off and the tail lights would flash.
