Unfortunately there is just not enough drama anymore with Lambo shapes. The front is asleep and the rear has one eye open looking at a drama.
Sad really because the combination of German quality and Italian flair could and should bring so much more.
When I first saw photos of the Huracan, I shared your opinion. Then I saw a matte black one parked up in a seaside town and was pleasantly surprised to find it had all the drama you'd ever need!Sad really because the combination of German quality and Italian flair could and should bring so much more.
Love these 'drive' type stories. It doesn't even have to be in something exotic - just interesting or out of the ordinary will do. More of this please Dan.
Oh, and I'll have mine in orange, thanks

Great write up.
Despite the fact that modern Lambo's have been somewhat sanitised or should that be Audified, I still think they offer something a bit above and beyond an R8 or your common 911 and given the choice, I'd be taking the Lambo keys every time.
Given the lightweight Aventador is faster round the Ring than the LaFerrari, and the new lightweight Huracan is about to become the fastest production car on the planet around the Nurb (faster than the 918), Lambo remains in a whole different stratosphere to the R8 and 911 Despite the fact that modern Lambo's have been somewhat sanitised or should that be Audified, I still think they offer something a bit above and beyond an R8 or your common 911 and given the choice, I'd be taking the Lambo keys every time.
Nice story, rather ugly car.
Just can't stand the styling. Outside and inside. The Aventador is thrilling but this thing?
For me the Huracan looks a bit like a flattened tick. And Steve Sutcliffe said in a test 'It understeers like a shopping trolley'.
But fortunately peoples tastes are different and we don't have to agree on everything...
I would always prefer the R8.

That was the plan and I've enjoyed many trips like that ... then I had a look at how much time I had! Tyre swap robbed me of my usual route across the Jura too; was a big diversion to Lyon and then I lost another hour of precious daylight while they took the car off site to have it cleaned. Despite confirming they wouldn't. Argh! First world problems, etc. Can't complain though, was still lots of fun and racing the train up the valley was epic!
