No, it's an invite for people to take the piss - if I knew I had only 6 months left, what's to stop me taking out a silly lease, with the expectation the agreement would be torn up when I died?

Not sure about you but I think if I knew I only had 6 months left I might have more important things to consider than trying tpo screw over a leasing company wink

For a Golf, yes. What about if you had enough money to cover 6 months' payments on a Ferrari 488?

That would only be a good idea if you didn't have any family or dependents who you'd want to benefit from your estate. I can't imagine that's the case for many people.
