Owned for 10 months, sold for a profit smile Maybe I'm just good at haggling?
Being a former 335 owner I would bloody love to see what type of 335 it was that allowed you to sell it for a profit!

Anyone saying Porsche depreciation is minimal is living in cloud cuckoo land.
My two Porsches have depreciated minimally. Less than £150/month on average over 3 years each. I didn't buy from OPC - I sold privately (to the first caller in both cases).

They were both around £20k when I bought them.

But as this is a thread about NEW Porsche we should be talking about deprecation from new and the answer is yes they do quite a bit when bought new, in fact lots unless a GT3/4 etc...

991 GT3s depreciate too.....but not from list price.

Summer 2015 the right spec and mileage cars were up around £170k.

Now down to c £125k.

An effective or potential loss of £45k.

One of the things I used to like about the .1 GTS' was that they used to have a different rear grille which was polished black metal compared to the standard Carreras.

I still think this new vertical slat grill which is now on all models is the weakest point of the .2 design it looks cheap compared to the .1 GTS grille and also compared to the louvres shaped into the aluminium of the .1 Carreras which were a really nice touch

"Quite a bit" is subjective. In £ terms, you're probably right. In % terms probably not. Second hand and new residual performance seem to be quite closely related IME.

How long before a 'regular' 911 is available from tuners that has the same power as 'turbo' 911?

And won't they be significantly cheaper?

And not 4wd.

Isn't this likely to affect sales of the 'turbo' somewhat?
Warranty. If I was spending that sort of money I'd want it to be backed by Porsche.
