Struggling with the frequency of these articles on the front page a bit, is this where things are going, the excitement of a rare car being 'seen on the road' (which, when you read the detail, is literally it being wheeled out of a transporter into a dealership)?
It did drive under its own power to be fair.

From the transporter into the showroom?

Some truly joyless souls on this thread.

It's the ultimate poster car from the ultimate poster marque.

Enjoy it for what it is before EV's ruin the party.

It did also do several laps of South Kensington in the middle of the night with no number plates, but shhh.

The grovelling tone of the article certainly filled me with a kind of joy.

God no its not, its terrible looking. That doesn't make me joyless, that makes me able to see. Its utterly terrible looking. Everything that was nice and flowed so nicely in the recent Lambo designs has been wiped out with stupid add ons. Obviously thats just my opinion.

No issue with the car as such, but an article about it being moved from a transporter to a showroom? It's a shame that the upper end of the car market has led to this kind of thing being 'news', really. Presumably quite popular too because PH has plenty of these sorts of articles now (e.g. the monthly 'supercars in London' article).

Some people enjoy looking at pictures of cars, instead of being fed something more serious and mentally involving smile

I dont think it's pretty. It's just Lamborghini doing its best to be flamboyant. It's a crazy looking thing, and for that I applaud it's existence.

I agree with you about that. A "spotted" article for being driven into the showroom is a but much. However, there are only 3 road legal versions on earth, which balances things a bit.

In fairness I submitted it as an article on Lamborghini London having the car, in my mind it wasn't supposed to go down as a 'spotting' article smile

Hello!

I realise the whole 'supercars in London' isn't everyone's cup of tea and I accept the premise of this story is around the spectacle of the car being in town and ... not a lot else. But Tom (snapper and author) is sincere in his passion for the subject and I hope there's a place for a little wide-eyed wonder about daft supercars here on PH. It'd be sad if there wasn't! His monthly supercar galleries - clue there, they are *monthly* - and stories like this are additional to all the stuff we were already doing and if it ain't your thing easily avoided. So it doesn't come at the expense of what was already on the site. More the merrier I'd hope and hardly a dilution of core PH values, just a little extra garnish on the side.

Cheers,

Dan

Oh dear. And I thought standing outside in the rain filming random people leaving a car meet was sad. Nearly as sad as camping outside an Apple store to be the first in line to buy and incremental iPhone update.

What has happened to the human race? Is the 'something in the water' conspiracy actually true?

Exactly. No one is joyless for not feeling that disgusting excuse for a car. It just means they have taste.

And I really, really do not get this whole supercar chasing nonsense either. It's not like a new one is an event anymore with all the big players following Audi's lead on launching a special edition every other week.
