Ok, fair enough. Sounds more exotic than an R type.

You haven't actually said you don't like the colour, is it a deal breaker or do you just want the colour you ordered (and I'd have no problem with that if that's what you want).

What I would say, is if they've stopped production, they won't restart it jus put to make you one in the correct colour.

Unless it's a Zonda.
No unfortunately not a Pagani. One day if i win the lotto! The colour is ok but when you waited 20 years to order one and its costing as much a average house you want it to be the way you ordered it to be.
True enough.

I think this is the problem isn't it. Your heart will never like the car as much as you thought it would because it's not the spec you requested.

I'd be seeing what the dealership will offer to compensate you for the mistake.

911R?

If it's something worth more than what you've paid surely accepting it and selling it is a better option?

If it's a limited edition, they'd have to take yours back and destroy it, and remake the correct car. I can't see them doing that no matter how good a customer you are.

Is the colour you've got at least on your list of colours you like, and does it look good in that colour?

Or is it white and you ordered metallic blue or similar - miles away from desired colour?

This surely gives you the most leverage possible? Kick up a royal fuss with the dealer network principle and see what they can offer you.

As long as it's not a BAD colour, you'll get over it.

You didn't wait 20 years for THIS car or even THIS model. You have waited for 20 years for a car from this maker. Either enjoy the one that is coming or, as said, take it, sell it for profit, and order another.

As the car is worth more now than the list price can i sue them for finical loss then?
I'm confused here. If the car is now worth more than list (I'm assuming you've paid list) what financial loss have you suffered?

I can understand your disappointment but if the car is a limited run and there is zero possibility of a car being available in the colour you ordered I'm not sure what you expect to happen.

Unfortunately can't say yet as i am will be writing some very nasty letters in the morning. Once i get confirmation of what they are willing to do i will share more details.
Why does that stop you telling us what it is? confused

Beans. Spill.

(I seem to remember a tale about an American fellow who ordered an M3 and it turned up in the wrong shade of blue, I'll see if I can find it).

There's GT8's online for sale for £299,999 if that is what it is? List was £165,000, why not just sell?

yes i can do that but it doesn't solve the problem that i want the car. i was thinking if they have to compensation they might be more likely to build another one.

correct not 20 years for this model, 20 years to buy a car from this manufacturer.
