Did they actually use the phrase 'people like you'?

Absolute buffoonery of so.
I'd be very keen to see where and how that was communicated.

I guess we'll have to wait for an outcome to be party to such detail.

I'd like to hear more about the details here? What was offered and then taken away? What makes them think you're going to flip it?
Perhaps this?

Yes, it will be with a well know independent by the weekend!

But wouldn't be presented that way by a defence lawyer.

The majority of flip talk was from others, including myself.

The OP wanted to live his dream, even if it was the wrong colour.

I'm sure you're right but it doesn't read well, regardless of the intent. I've looked at it a few times and I'm still not entirely sure what is meant by the finger-wagging emoji.

I think you need to be careful about what is posted here and how. No doubt their legal team have a copy of this thread and are busy with a highlighter looking for opportunities to misrepresent things to weaken your position.

And the OP has a signed order form for a car that they haven't supplied and have no intention of supplying... Oh, they've also had £20,000 of his money for the best part of a year.

I wish you the very best OP.

Absolutely that was my understanding too, he was aiui quite prepared to compromise but was rightly looking for some quid pro quo from Aston Martin.

What do you want to achieve by count to court?

A new car in the right colour? - Seemingly not going to happen.
Your money back? - No need to go to court for that.
Some sort of compensation? - What exactly?
Something else?

Suppose you do somehow end up with the car. Will you still 'like' it or is it now tainted?

If AM are so against people selling on cars for a profit how is they have a dealer which has one for sale way above list?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...

I was told by JCT that this car is owned by them and the owner sold it to them as he wanted to make a quick profit! LMAO

Take the car and sell on after one year, they will probably be worth more any way. This is what i would want from the court out come.

I was going to ask if that's where your car had gone

Bit late for that advice now, unfortunately for the OP that horse has bolted.

I'd assumed that's what happens when you let your 4 year old loose on the car configurator.
