It's a close call between my current 205 GTI or the Caterham R300 Superlight I owned in the mid '00's.

Probably the 1986 BMW M635 CSi with a Hartge exhaust. I loved every minute with the car. It's now down under.

Love my current car but I also miss the Citroen BX 16V I had for about 5 years.

Green Citroen AX with a Saxo VTS engine. Loved that car and was epic fun.

One day I'll have another.
You didn't go up to knockhill in it did you?

There was a green one with a saxo engine for sale on my Facebook feed a few days ago with yellow wheels.

Difficult to say but probably my first MR2 MK1 T-Bar. I got her at 18 years old and it felt like I had a Ferrari she was quite nippy and impressively grippy with it. Then driving at night looking at the stars through the glass panels or taking them out for a top down potter about. I did over 400 miles the weekend I got her, with the roof off and windows down. Cost me three days of very, very, very sore ears that did !!

The current 5.0 Chimaera is pretty tasty too mind - a car we will never sell.

Difficult choice, I had a £300 Vauxhall Carlton GSI 3000 in the early 2000's. Because of it's lack of value, decent handling and it's road presence meant that it was huge fun.

I also had an integrale 16v in the late 90's and the handling was the most confidence inspiring that I have ever felt, I could skim the tread of the nearside rear tyre off a kerb exiting a roundabout, such was the accuracy of it's road positioning.

The most fun though, was a genuine 350bhp rear wheel drive Sapphire Cosworth that was completely standard looking, it would easily spin up in 3rd in the dry. One afternoon it spun up in 2nd and as a result one guy threw his wife into a hedge! No idea why, maybe he didn't like her very much.

My first GTV, even bought it back after selling, that car got me laid many times, not easy in it but doable.
Loved my old Sierra estate as well.

Lightweight TVR Cerbera V8, for many good and many bad reasons.

My MR2 Turbo was fun. Great time of my life, and lots of great drives in it whilst listening to Depeche Mode. My 106 Rallye was pretty memorable too, I can still remember the smell of hot plastic from the heating vents on cold days.

My current Skyline and my MG ZT, the Skyline just because it is an amazing machine and the MG because despite it being the most unreliable ruinous car ever I just loved so much about it; the V6, the looks, the comfort, the interior.

My current, a 325ti. Is it mega quick? No, a 2.0TDI will give it a good scaring, but the noise, reliability and the memories of the 25k I've done in it the year I've had it are excellent. The best way to drive around country lanes during summer is rear pop out windows and sunroof open.

My 200SX that I had when I was 22, I had no money, spunked everything I had on buying it/fixing it/modifying it and running it then lost a fortune when I sold it rofl

I loved it though, it almost killed me a lot but I remember the good times over all the very bad (and expensive) times!

Always liked those, they do appear to be rather troublesome.

My first TVR (S3) when I was early 20's. Loads of character and my first non-mainstream sports car. The noise was great and always made me feel special. Bits falling off made me learn how to fix stuff. Joined PH and made a load of mates who remain friends to this day. First attended a few runs, first time I went for a drive just to go for a drive. Took it to Le Mans, took it around Europe and many, many memorable trips. Flawed in many ways but the flaws made me love it even more. Drove in all weathers as a daily car and at a point in my life where all was coming together. Happy days.

I had 2 engines, 3 turbos, 2 gearboxes + all the mods. I probably spent 10k on it and sold it for 4k hehe

I still own mine (4 years last december, 24 now!) And whilst I haven't lunched any engines, boxes or turbos. It's a constant stream of maintenance hehe

Currently looking to tidy up rust and paint to sell it on. but mine didn't cost 10k hehe Was £3750 or so 4 years ago, if I get paint and that tidied up I'll probably manage to punt it for 4-5k.

I had been considering a 200SX for a project - never realised they suffered issues. Rare for a Japanese car to hear of such probs.

I've had many memorable car/experiences for various reasons so it's tough to choose. Probably this little fella - principally because I never really thought I'd get to own one.
