My old Cavalier SRI was a gorgeous green, and quite rare I believe.
Funnily enough, it was called Nautilus blue

I do like a car in a colourful shade.

In 1979, my folks thought this looked classy. I'm not so sure.

It was called Sweetcorn and looked like this.

An Arctic blue Volvo 440 like this was a favourite of mine.

I loved our Peacock Green V40. It looked like this.

My old MX-5 was a kind of candy apple red. My picture doesn't do it justice.

It featured in an earlier post. Typhoon Monogram flip paint on my late MG ZT-T

I've had two MGFs in Sienna Gold or JRG as I call it.

My present Sienna Cold MGF

I really like my brown Land Rover. Kaikora Stone

There's no accounting for taste eh?

I'll echo Rich1973's Pearlescent Tahiti Blue, a hard colour to photograph, it goes a beautiful metallic turquoise in direct sunshine at certain angles (I'd have every car I buy in that colour if I could to be honest).

Another vote for the MG Monogram colours, especially Dark Fantasy though (another colour that I'd love to have on future cars).

Other colours I've taken a shine to though are -
Jaguar Radiance (red)

and Jaguar Emerald Fire (best shot I could find) -

Both preferably on an 2006+ XK.

The old mustard yellow that BT vans used to be.

Lovely, bold colour. The current MINI comes in a colour not too different...

Love Lambo's etc in crazy colours... but things like the Orange on a Ford Focus ST... that's not on.!!

My personal Bias... but think the Vantage V8 looks amazing in Cobalt Blue. Not a huge amount around, especially where I am... stopped at lights i'm always getting compliments on the car and colour!

Dont know why but I love it,

Looked at the BMW X5 configurator the other day and its not wonder most are boring colours, unless you go "Individual" its all monochromatic colours or Brown.
Is that pink called karman rot? It looks like colour max power did their project mk6 rs2000 in.
Nope... it's Rubystone,paint code 82N which was in the 1990's colour range,Karminrot paint code M3C is a 2000+ colour range...read

Ford crystal blue (metallic). Although I may be a bit biased.
That looks like Paris blue to me. I loved that colour but it was discontinued in 1987 when I bought a new XR2 so had to settle for mercury grey!

A standard TVR colour for the time but rarely chosen it seems. Starmist Chianti. Was also a VW colour with a different name so there will be a few Corrados etc around with it too.

Think that's based model to top of the range 7 series! 1980s prices so hope not.

Found pic of my old car and a bunch of red BMWs in colours that wouldn't get made today.
