Well it takes allsorts, just ask Bertie Bassett...
Williamp mentioned silver birch earlier, Rover's version was somewhat different to Aston Martin's, it's more of a pearl grey...
This colour still looks good forty odd years later...

I saw one on the road near me on New Year's Day. It had real presence with two tone paintwork.
Arden Green always looked good on P5s. if a little dark and sober...
Friend use to have this:
Aunty had this:
dad drove one like this:
and the modern love for baby blues only reminds me of these:
EVEN after those....I prefer them to resale silver and the 'variations of' that dominate our car parks.....making it all the more contrary that my other car is silver

Another gratuitous '70s green (bucket available on request if you don't share the same affliction), not sure what the Jaguar name for it was but it looks close to Rover's Avocado green, for me the Kent alloys and contrasting vinyl roof are the icing on the cake...
Even allowing for the NEC's dubious lighting this is still quite an eyeful...
I could live with this...

That is stunning (as is the green Maserati Ghibli). Wonderful deep lustrous colour, and do I see a hint of classic tan leather inside?Lovely to see so much love of coloured cars. I'm in heaven reading this thread.
