Paint to sample Viper Green, I call her Kermit
Phwoar lick

You simply couldn't own one of those in a "sensible" colour IMO.
Nail on head.

Land Rover deep bronze green looks stunning on classics. I'm waiting for my parents to sell thier house so me and my dad can do an ex army lightweight in this colour.

I'd say MK1 Focus RS Imperial Blue, I had one a while back and when clean and on a bright day there is little better.

Second choice would be an E-type in Primrose

Third would a nice 70's 911 in dog pooh brown with tan leather

I made a very controversial topic about a yellow Maserati GT being wrong, I'll keep my mouth shut!
But I must say I love vibrant colours on most cars but I think cars as cool as the Jaguar XJR ( not just this car) would look wrong in orange (or other vibrant colours), a stealthy all black no chrome looks epic on them, agree?

Very much liked this Dark Aubergine colour in the mid-1990's from Ford
Changed colour from Black to Purple to a Bronzy colour depending on how the sunlight fell on it

Actually had my Cosworth in Mallard Green which was nice (any Escort Cosworth was nice!) as that's what I could get at the time but preferred this colour and had it on a couple of V6 Mondeo's

I always like paints that change with sunlight; the Rasberry Black on my VFR750 changes from jet black to a red tinge and the Dark Titanium on my Hilux varies from grey, to green, to black, to purple (on the rare occasions it is clean !!)

I'm quite partial to a bit of metallic bronze/copper on less supercar-ey stuff tbh.

Oro Lonchamps?

Personally I like the Bora in Bleu Ischia as I think it really compliments the stainless steel roof etc.,.. and blue is a sort of traditional Maserati colour. Of course I am biased!!!!

Ooh, I like that
Yep so do most of us on the Caterham groups too!

But it's definitely a chameleon change colour.

Check these pics of the same car at the BaT showroom under different lighting conditions..

And one more with softer lighting.

It certainly looks different colour in those lights!

Unless I've missed it, no votes for a TDF blue 360?

Personally I think there should be a £1,000 'boring' tax placed on any new car ordered in black, grey, silver or white, that should shake the market up a bit!

Green is my favourite, in fact all my vehicles except for my 1956 grey Fergie are green ;-)

As the driver of a pearl white car, I agree with this. It's frustrating because I really wanted a dark metallic green or a rich metallic red, but they only made the car in white, black, four shades of silvers and greys, a washed out pale blue and a brown.

It's a shame that colour palettes are so limited but it's apparently all about resale value, such a shame. Been tempted to wrap mine in red...

This used to brighten a dull day up

I've noticed far fewer new white cars around, but red seems to be making a comeback.
