Has anyone had any experince with these?
I was reading the other day they are made in the same factory as one of the main brand tyres (name escapes me at the time of typing)
They average out at 5* review on black circles and other places online.
I know they are not going to set the world a light but any helpful experince of these appreciated.

Kumho Ecstas (I assume this is the £30 more expensive) are a good midrange tyre but if you are going much below that then what you're getting is cheap tat.

Better reading reviews from proper tyre tests though. People who buy £30 tyres and give 5 stars have probably been driving on bald tyres for 2 years.I was reading the other day they are made in the same factory as one of the main brand tyres (name escapes me at the time of typing)

I can confirm Rotalla tyres are st. I had some on my Impreza GX as I stuck some new tyres on a couple of months before selling it. It had Falkens on which were worn down, so I decided on some new tyres to see me through until I sold it.
I used Etyres as I ended up with a puncture on the way to work IIRC. I asked for Falkens, but the fitter said they were out of Falkens but the Rotallas were comparable on quality and slightly cheaper. I was dubious, but went ahead since I knew the car was going.
I can't remember the model number but I do recall that the compound was very soft and sticky. It was almost tacky to the touch. Dry grip was actually better than the Falkens had ever been and it resulted in a car that felt really 'direct' in the corner. They turned in well and didn't suffer from the sidewall flubbing about too much. However, they wore very quickly indeed.
The biggest downside, other than the poor wear rate, was the wet performance. They felt like bars of soap in the wet. The B roads of Northumberland are often wet and in poor condition. They shifted standing water reasonably well but slipped and skidded around on wet tarmac like it was going out of fashion. If you didn't smoothly apply the brake pedal, you could lock all four wheels. I remember testing them on some empty roads and the braking performance was dreadful. The fronts were easily overwhelmed into long, lurid skids.
In my estimation, they were absolute st. They served a purpose though and the bloke I sold the car to was so pleased with 'fresh' tyres that he didn't even mention the brand.
I wouldn't use them again.
