It certainly looks like the BMW got his lane positioning all over the place. In a lane to turn right, then changes lanes mid way round the roundabout.
At the same time, the biker could have moved off and got away without incident but chose to kick off at the driver. So driver is in the wrong, biker makes it into a 'situation'. I'd almost understand the bikers reaction if he'd had to make an evasive manoeuvre.
It isn't the camera bike forcing the BMW over, its the two plonkers in front of him i.e. the ones the BMW driver is watching. At the same time, the biker could have moved off and got away without incident but chose to kick off at the driver. So driver is in the wrong, biker makes it into a 'situation'. I'd almost understand the bikers reaction if he'd had to make an evasive manoeuvre.
As has been mentioned several times already if the first two bikes had stayed in their correct lane instead of straight-lining the roundabout the BMW wouldn't have left his correct lane.
Bike 1, 2 and especially 3 are at fault here. First class idiots.
I'm surprised there haven't been more comments on the muppets You Tube page.

fk me! It genuinely puzzles me as to how some people can make such obviously bad decisions when driving.
In almost every case it was the lack of 'look before pulling out' that causes the accident. Many of the camera cars simply pulled out in front of someone who was already overtaking.
Most, if not all of the observed (by DCW) accidents were caused by the same thing, by the cars ahead of them, aside from a couple of obvious attempts to simply force the overtaking car off the road.

While the bikers should always watch out for this sort of driving, it was the BMW that was in the wrong lane at the entrance to the island
However, the green lane marking sign indicated that both lanes go straight on, so BMW seemed to be positioned acceptably at the approach.
When the BMW entered the island, he moved into the lane for the a205(e) then failed to indicate when changing to the a20 exit.
Look at the pics again. The tt on the bike blocked him into that lane. However, the green lane marking sign indicated that both lanes go straight on, so BMW seemed to be positioned acceptably at the approach.
When the BMW entered the island, he moved into the lane for the a205(e) then failed to indicate when changing to the a20 exit.
I don't think the BMW was blocked as they would have thought they could go up the a20 on approach. Certainly if they knew they were blocked, then cutting across without any indication was poor driving.
Really 6 of one etc.

I've done exactly that on the M62 but onto the hard shoulder, the lorry just kissed the car in front doing very little damage but I'd have been much worse off.jogger1976 said:

So why does the car performing a retarded u turn in a junction get away without a bashing? Awful, lack of awareness manoeuvre. Yes the moped could have dealt but it's the car performing the U turn that caused it.
Car move was dumb. But I saw it happening seconds before the biker did, and even when he did , his reaction was poor. Likewise, the car doing a U-Turn, and zipping infront of it, stupid.
You can tell why so many L plate riders are involved in traffic incidents...
