established on a road is still careless driving, he cut a corner, being established on a road means FA.

Fiesta driver knew exactly what they were doing, and probably do it everytime they use that R/B.
Possibly not - they might have been panicking over whether going to Grimsby was worse than going to Cleethorpesbiggrin

As per your YT comment, I've uploaded a longer video from the cam (luckily it hadn't been overwritten yet) with the registration of the blocker clearly visible:

He could have overtaken
'Or to overtake a horse, pedal cycle or road maintenance vehicle, only if they are not travelling at speeds greater than 16 km/h (10 mph)'

seemed like the type of DCW who basically lives looking in his view rear mirror for a reaction.

But the pedal cycle was travelling at 15mph so technically he did the right thing by hanging back.

If it were me, I'd have overtaken regardless of lines and hatchings.

I hope that pedestrian was backing you up!

Can't believe they are arguing about that TBH, seems pretty clear cut? (unless he's saying he was established on a road you were turning into?)
I can't see what being established would have to do with drifting into the wrong lane/cutting a corner?

My car was actually written off in this, the other taxi is still driving about.

Saw this excellent attempt at an overtake the other day.

https://youtu.be/nePGhc5nZss

Speed limit is 40 (so easily over the speed limit), poor choice of overtake location (up a hill) which wasn't helped by the Audi deciding to accelerate when the Renault went for it. Chap coming the other way must have had a bit of a fright.

Please excuse the silly music, I was on the phone at the time so muted the video.
That overtake would have been absolutely fine if not for the utter bellend in the Audi speeding up. I'd like to see people losing their licence for that, it's incredibly dangerous.
Agreed, what an a_hole. I wonder why someone speeds up when overtaken - trying to say their 'manhood' is not that small? All it does is prove there's a streak of idiot lurking in their dna.

fking chancer. Why do people do it? They must know they're wrong and all it will end up as 50:50 so both end up having to pay their excess. The insurance companies must love it.

There's no way that's 50/50, I'll be getting my excess and loss of earnings covered I can assure you.

TBH its hard to tell what the visibility is like to overtake but personally I would have gone for it on the hatches but not on the solid white like the other guy did as thats mental!!

in then end, the guy has every right to drive like he wants and shouldn't expect someone to get mega angry because he's stuck behind a cyclist

but there is defo a touch of "i art holier than thou" going on

A touch?

He's yet another example of a dash cam warrior policing the roads and deliberately trying to provoke incidents for YouTube.
