People do seem to have a habit of mashing the horn before hitting the brakes. That's certainly not how my reflexes are wired.
I thought it's:

1. Accelerate towards the potential collision

2. Horn

3. Swear

4. Point to camera

5. Brake

6. Hope that you're in Friday's exposed edition on YouTube

Point 5 is optional.

This ^^^

The majority of incidents can be mitigated with a lift of the throttle, you see it on roundabouts all time, "Did you see that! That fker pulled out on me, the fker! I saw you accelerate towards the car yes....."

Haha I said the same to my wife earlier. If they weren't already after the bike he'd have been well and truly dry bummed!

Don't see the problem with that, she indicated, waited, the camera car sped up if anything, absolute non event, hardly worth a video of it, just normal give and take.
Agreed. Van sped up when he saw indicator.

It wasn't great driving from the fiesta, but not worthy of an upload just everyday inattentive hesitant driving, made worse by the van not lifting off to give her the room she hadn't afforded to herself.

"shocking" ????

this whole "illegal phone use" annoys me.... its the totality of driving without due care and attention that should be resolved. Drivers and riders are guilty of this all day every day but people don't kick off at them like they do mobile phone use.

remember when people actually fitted car phones? was there this huge spike in deaths then?

What an idiot, she presumably put it in reverse instead of first by mistake. Was there any damage to yours? Have you contacted her or reported it etc?

Broken number plate surround and some scratches to the front bumper. I'll fix my car myself so not involving insurance.

No idea who she is or where she came from so reported to Police for not leaving details.

Love how she looks so worried when checking her own car but barely glances at yours even as she's getting back in.

I think the asshole was a complete knob stopping like that, dangerous on a Mway

The dashcammer should have moved over

However...it was refreshing to hear a Dashcammer without a whiney breaking voice of a 13 year old boy, he propper shouted it for once

...Nothing worse than all these cammers muttering c-u-n... whilst sounding like Jays younger brother off the inbetweeners
Unless it said "Stay in lane". Looks he was slowly catching the guy in L1 anyway.

Edited by Vipers on Friday 17th March 23:13
I drive on that road fairly frequently and it certainly said nothing about staying in lane last time I drove along it. There are a lot of average speed camera roads in this area of Scotland and a lot of problems with nob heads who sit at an indicated 70/50 mph in the outside lane refusing to move over so I understand the other drivers frustration but his actions were idiotic.

I have reported it. Don't know if I should phone my insurers or not just to let them know.

Assuming you're talking about noticing insurance. I guess because I should? I don't know. Police said I should just in case she attempts to counter claim after finding out she's getting done.

Problem you have is even if nothing happens and no claim made your insurance will go up if you report it to them.
