Ahhhhh! Is THAT what they are, "escape routes". And you just keep your foot to the floor when using them, yeah? And the warning chevrons because of the reduced width by the bridge, that doesn't apply to small vehicles like trucks. Got it.

It is obvious there is a problem at 4 seconds when all the brake lights and hazards come on. The driver carries on with his overtake and seemingly doesn't react until 10 seconds.

tbh he's on his side of the road, if it were me though I'd have just gone past instead of stopping and ducked into a gap.

It's the 'well you'll be the one arrested' later etc etc that makes him look silly... and he forgot to call for the ambulance that he decided he needed after chaing down the driver ... what a sad little man.

Ha very good I meant the actual brakes, after coming to a stop for the remainder of the video, the driver releases/reapplied the brakes. Few times despite being at a standstill. Whereas the BMW in L2 just sits on the brakes the whole time.

Crikey, that brings back a memory, lorry jackknifed in front of me one Christmas Eve on the m6 in the mid 90's. No idea what happened but the trailer went broadside across all three lanes. I was approaching at some speed and braced for impact but the driver seemed to just pull it straight again.

No idea why it happened, imagine he snoozed of (before mobile phones were widely available)

he really does sound like a billy no mates, he can't even say inprisonment properly. sure it's a tight space but he could have moved aside to save his own ass instead of stopping like a muppet, if he kept on going he would have been able to inch over to the left.
