re: land rover and fiesta. I'd say fiesta is at fault. The land rover in the 'gy' lane is intending to take the exit lane labelled 'gy'. Fiesta who is initially in the 'clee' lane should take the exit lane labelled 'clee'. The left indicator on the fiesta could just be signalling their intent to leave the roundabout, rather than indicating to change lane at/near the exit of it. Don't think I would have done much differently if I was driving the land rover, perhaps hang back by an extra yard or swerve a bit more to the left - and that's having seen the clip 3 times!
Fiesta driver knew exactly what they were doing, and probably do it everytime they use that R/B.

Fiesta was definitely wrong, but are you saying you think that it would be beyond your driving abilities to have avoided that accident if you were driving the LR?

There was literally no need for that collision at all, LR driver could have avoided it but chose not to.

Yep, he effectively chose to have a collision rather than back off or steer towards the bus lane. Grade A knobber.

Don't know in all honesty.

We've got the benefit of knowing that an accident is about to happen, we don't know the (lack of) view in relation to the land rover's a-pillar plus the fact that the camera is positioned somewhere differently to the driver's eyes. Throw in a driver who's concentration was below 100% due to working nights, going through a divorce or looming redundancy then I can see why the collision happened.

Fiesta vs Land Rover incident is an incredibly common flashpoint, but usually easily avoided with a bit of defensive driving by the left-hand lane driver. The Fiesta driver actually indicated, which is a rare phenomenon.

Very tempting to make a point by closing them off etc (particularly as many drivers do this knowingly to gain a bit of time) but not worth it, as it can come to this.

I've seen most of these before but from 5.32 is a damn good reason to have a dash cam, last one could have turned out really bad, I felt sorry for the woman in the Red car.

WTF was going on at 5:32? Does the woman think cammer has gone into the back of her or something?

the punto VS merc accident right after must be older then time itself, seen that so many times. how messy is her car though? CDs falling out when she opens the door and even further crap all over the front and back of the car.

Saw this excellent attempt at an overtake the other day.

https://youtu.be/nePGhc5nZss

Speed limit is 40 (so easily over the speed limit), poor choice of overtake location (up a hill) which wasn't helped by the Audi deciding to accelerate when the Renault went for it. Chap coming the other way must have had a bit of a fright.

Please excuse the silly music, I was on the phone at the time so muted the video.

Dash can warrior in a land rover causes a crash rather than making some room.
Looks to me like the fiesta cut across at the last minute, as there were two lanes on that exit.
I disagree. The fiesta is visable on camera at 1:00 and already indicating. The fiesta then makes the move at 1:05 still indicating. It was obvious what the fiesta's intention.

It's the classic DCW process of: see (or perhaps he was oblivious) the situation developing, horn first, have an accident, slam on the brakes then get out looking bemused.

RR could have easily 100% avoided it, but nobody was getting past him, he drives a RR !!

That overtake would have been absolutely fine if not for the utter bellend in the Audi speeding up. I'd like to see people losing their licence for that, it's incredibly dangerous.

From the dashcam in one of my taxis - other driver obviously blind.

My car was actually written off in this, the other taxi is still driving about.

I hope that pedestrian was backing you up!

Can't believe they are arguing about that TBH, seems pretty clear cut? (unless he's saying he was established on a road you were turning into?)

Agreed. Sadly I suspect it'll have to result in a fatal collision before it's addressed.
