I swap between them and my brain seems to load in the correct stuff to switch between them, dont even think about it.

One car that might cause a few issues to those unfamiliar with its design would be a 1970's Pontiac Firebird* - automatic transmission but with three pedals.
The one on the left is the parking brake - press it down to apply, release it with a small lever under the dash.
Some American films with car chases show the driver stamping on the left pedal and the car then "handbrake turns" in a cloud of tyre smoke.

  • No doubt there are others.
