Hmmm, definitely a brown duck moment.

Im aware, but on the LT their appears to be some clearance.
The new Mclaren , the exhaust tips seem to be set further back and the lower part touching the upper bumper

Not a pretty car, but very nice all the same. Like the new rear ends, the old tail light designs where ugly IMO.

Reminds me of a Zonda around the windows and an ascari from the front.

Where the performance figures will be i have no clue but it must be getting increasingly hard to put distance between models.
The 488 genuinely closed the performance gap that everyone knew McLaren had over the 458.

If McLaren can pull out the same sort of acceleration gap as it previously held ill be very impressed.
While i will be impressed i wont be surprised. Manufacturers keep doing amazing things in making their models faster in every way. What is even more impressive is at the same time they make them easier to drive and more usable on a daily basis.

It must be a hard job choosing if you are in the market for a supercar.

However i still would not complain if i had the funds to play the supercar game.

The roofline and rear quarters remind me of Peugeot RCZ a bit.

Here is exactly what it will look like. An undisguised prototype back in September last year, although it seemed like nobody cared about it back then for some reason...
Wow! That looks fantastic. I'm not the greatest McLaren fan by any means but I think I'll have a good look at this one when it's released.

Im going to a preview event on 2nd February in Birmingham. Id imagine it will be a no photo affair though. I dont think they'll want any photos of the real deal until Geneva.

Cant wait smile

I think that undisguised car is still carrying some additional bodywork.

Those exhausts surely cant exit so close to the bumper?

As such im expecting it to look a little l8ighter than it currently does. Which will hopefully improve the front end.
Regardless i think this will be brilliant.

The back of the 675LT is stunning IMO

I agree. There's a real simplicity about it, purposeful and well balanced with just the right amount of aggression.

Good to see the wing does pop up afterall, the other spyshots from ages ago clearly showed air coming through the doors. This orange painted car with grey wrap looks so cool.

The front side bumper reminds me of Koenigsegg Agera, hints of Pagani in the roof/rear and the rear is like a ruf ctr3 had a baby with a P1/675LT. Get that lot and mate it with a future Mclaren F1 inc its cool doors and this is what you get, evolution. More hypercar than supercar. McLaren have found their futuristic style, curvy but aggressive.

Roll on Geneva! I have a feeling the show car will be that awfull rust orange colour, but hopefully they will show another one in a futuristic pearl silver/grey or a lively 3 layer green, but without the 90's superfail "hey everyone ive got carbon ceramics" yellow calipers plz. They look rubbish esp on porsche/ferraris, yellow calipers only look good on yellow or black cars. A chameleon of silvers/light blues would be cool too, good paint sells cars and this new one has great curves/angles to be highlighted.

The rear quarter is looking much more Ferrari. A vast improvement, keep it up Mclaren.

How'd you get invited to that? I've always wanted to attend a super/hyper car showing.

No doubt it's going to be a cracking car but that is one ugly duckling. Then again a lot of cars these days aren't exactly lookers.

I love how McLaren have come on over the years. If I won the Euros I'd drive straight past Ferrari and right into McLaren.

Ive got a deposit down on one of them, and have owned a couple of McLarens before.
