As I've been a bit negative twice on this thread now I'll propose two childhood favourites of mine which I think fit the bill.

Monteverdi Hai

Maserati Bora

I would nominate this as a good second place. My lottery win, the Iso Grifo.

Elegance personified - beautiful.

I love the roof treatment on the Bristol 401,3 and 5. Flowing curves merging into each other.

The 401 and 403 probably did it best

The original SZ from the 60s also has a beautiful roof line, not dissimilar to the Porsche 356;
That's a massive YUM! from me, but really it belongs in the badly parked cars thread. weeping

The Alfa SZ ES30 has an elegant roofline, very delicate compared to the rest of the design, highlighted by the RZ which without the roof looks awful to my eyes.
To my eyes that looks like it's been in a terrible accident! hehe
That's exactly what I thought, but the paintwork appears to be undamaged. Very odd styling though.

So ubiquitous, it's been forgotten.
