Bradford has got to be equally bad or worse than Birmingham, surely?

There seems to be no need to simply wait in a line of traffic with everyone else in Bradford. You just pretend that you're going right and the junction and then cut in front of the cars who have been patiently waiting to go straight on in the left hand side lane.

Drives me mad. The vast majority of people just let it go and don't even beep and to be fair, I can't say I blame them considering some of the characters who drive about without a care in the world, usually whilst smoking a spliff and talking on their phones. It drives me mad! I do my best to make sure that they never 'beat' me. One of these days, I'm going to come to blows with some of these idiots. I can see it coming!

East of jct23/24 on the M62- the roads/motorway seem bedlum. Nothing to do with race- it's sheer number of cars, people on roads and the roads.

Yes certain congested centres are bad I.e Rusholme and Bradford but that's due to popularity of a area and density of cars.

Go to the Lakes and you'll find young lads driving bad and pissed/high. Bad driving happens everywhere.

I've driven all over London and not had an issue with it. Just got to stick your foot down and get on with it.

Drove from the M6 to the Bull Ring carpark and hated every single second of it! And lucky me is booked on a course in Birmingham early April. Lucky me lol

Plenty of idiots around the Black Country too. Despite it's name, it isn't exactly overrun by foreigners.

It's not worse than Bradford, not by a long way.

Bradford is a dump in any way to choose to measure it. Horrible, hateful place.

I worked on the new shopping centre when it was being built, theft from vans was off the scale. Doors levered open or windows smashed in broad daylight. All tools gone.

Got family over in Birmingham and I must say it's a total dump to drive in, especially in the areas dominated by ethnic minorities. People randomly walk into the road, drivers never seem to indicate or have a clue about the highway code. Also the amount of illegal parking is shocking. No wonder its the worst UK city for insurance.
Why? The areas dominated by ethnic minorities? Nice one OP. Not.
Why, it's the same in Sneinton, Nottingham. Traffic calming all over the place, to save the locals from them selves. They haven't got a clue about road safety.

Page hall, Sheffield. Cars pulling up suddenly in the middle of the road for a chat with a pal at peak periods. People walking in the road to chat to the car pulling up. Loads of roma gypsies in untaxed uninsured cars. Drive offs from accidents are common as are people being knocked over accidentally or on purpose sometimes. Gangs roaming the streets at night, you would not get out if you had a bump and were on your own. Bus blocks the road at school times so people just drive around the bollard onto the wrong side of the road at speed.
Double/triple parking and people offering to stab you for pipping the horn at them to move. A st hole of the highest order and you wouldn't want to drive or own a nice car there.

I've driven in the less salubrious cities mentioned on this thread, but York must rank as one of the worst in U.K. And even Europe. Never, ever imagined I would advocate park and ride.

Parts of Leeds

I think Bradford and Leeds are easily the worst. I remember driving down the wrong street and a bunch of ethnics staring at me as if I was lost.

I myself am an ethnic of the Sikh variety minus turban and beard.

It was disconcerting to say the least as I was not a local. Merely passing through the st hole known as Bradford.
I was in Luton today. I witnessed the following.
An "innit bruv" tt in a new M3 blaring his horn at the poor sod who'd dared to stop so a mother and toddler could across a Zebra crossing.
An older gentleman in a RR driving on the wrong side of the road, at oncoming traffic, just so he wouldn't have to queue like everyone else..
Endless minicabs double parked, making illegal u turns and generally not giving a fk.
At least three people failing to give way at roundabouts or completely disregarding red traffic lights.
Being glared at by the locals as if I was some alien from Mars.

In conclusion, Luton is a sthole full of st drivers.

Bradford is the worst place I have ever come across for driving......

Yes it's the Asian areas which are the worst....dominated by young chavvy asian s in hired/borrowed/dodgy funded cars driving however they feel like

I live here and the driving is simply outrageous. ....a huge number of fatal accidents too but the driving goes on totally unabated

The police need to be given the power to seize and retain the cars....points/bans/fines/jail mean nothing to these men most of whom are deeply entrenched in the drug subculture

By the way I'm asian myself and can't stand these pricks!
