Do wheels still get nicked?

Discovery 3 and as said by other posters, MK1 RRS both have spare wheels that can and do get stolen.

You can access the cable that lowers the wheel from under the car and cut it.
One free wheel.
They have an updated protector for Disco4s and you can get spare wheel protectors for the earlier cars.

I have one on my D3. You can't get to the cable with it fitted. Cost me £40.
