Yeah it was a pants gearbox - you can get one for a relative song now too, they were listed at fifty grand but with alternatives like the 335i and S4 available I think they were over reaching themselves tbh.

Hopefully the new eight speed ones depreciate in a similar fashion! lick
Speaking of depreciation, I was amazed that there's already deep discounting from brokers on S4's. Orangewheels offering over £7K saving from list, for example.

Audi have got the aesthetics so right on this one imo. Reminds me of the first time I saw a dolphin grey BMW E30 325i estate (manual of course) - one of the best looking small estates of all time. The S4 does beat that and I think correctly spec'd - should be a future classic.
I agree with you 100%. The design is very "German" and that is meant as a compliment. I also really like the BMW E30 and E34 estate, the E36 too and the W124...hey even the first round Audi 80 estate still looks excellent...

Had mine for well over 2 years and after MRC remap to 445bhp it is a great car. Practical and bloody fast , loads of torque. Can't think of anything else that can offer this much pace/grip/practicality to make me want to change in the price range

Those options are reasonably priced!?
Have they misplaced a decimal point?
