Hasn't the bikie World Endurance just changed its format from the nornal March - September type season to a academic type year September - July??
In which case, why isn't there a Bahrain 6 hours, a Phillip Island 8 hours, Bathurst Moto24 or something to fill in these flipping suicide months?
Just about scraping by watching the rallying, rugby, biathlon and Murder In Paradise. Every cell in my body detests the whole football thing that most of the UK seems to thrive on.
Far too cold to tinker with my bike in the garage. Poor thing looks like I've done a beach race on it.

I don't have a bike licence and have never ridden a bike (apart from a Paris-Dakar type thing for two weeks on holiday years ago wearing flop flops, shorts and no helmet!) but I am absolutely hooked on motoGP. By far the most exciting racing I've seen. Looking forward to the new season.

One more empty weekend then there's WSB to watch.
I can't explain how much I hate football.
The amount of people that assume I like football is beyond me, there's always an awkward silence after they have asked me a football related question and I say " I don't do football " Then they assume I must like cricket and after that rugby I sum it up by saying anything involving a ball bores me.I can't explain how much I hate football.
I get something slightly different. Because I like cars and track days people assume I like F1. To which I find it difficult to give anything better than a non commital kind of grunt as its so dull.
I then tell them a story, that having been at Silverstone for F1 with hospitality Friday and Saturday with customers I then gave my ticket up to a colleague so I could go to my home round of BSB at Snetterton, as it was far more preferable than another day of watching F1- stunning as it is to see live technically, it's duller than dish water racing.

On topic anyone know why WSB first race is a month before the second race?
Just the usual, annual question.
BT Sport & Videopass charge a lot of money for a seasons Moto GP, is there anywhere cheaper, simpler?
I've looked at KODI etc but I get lost in the tech of it and fail miserably.
Reluctant to pay BT as most of the money goes on football and like previous posters, I don't do footy anymore.
A guy I know from work was going to a rugby match recently, assumed I'd be interested. Replied that if it "didn't have wheels and prefereably an engine I wasn't interested"

So who thinks Maverick Vinales is going to give the "Aliens" a serious run for their money this year?
I'm really rooting for Rossi to get the elusive 10th title BUT I suspect Maverick will have a lot to say about that, as will Marquez. Think Marquez and Vinales will soon come to blows for sure and I'm hoping Vinales comes out on top of that particular battle.
Also intrigued to see how Lorenzo gets on. Fighting for a podium every now and then I suspect, but the Ducati is clearly a dramatically improved bike from a few years ago.
Going to be a great year of racing I hope.

I do.TD
Although all testing caveats aside, the fastest race pace, consistent low lap times were Marquez, Vinales is there too. Next outing to PI I think will be interesting with new updates etc. to see who carries their Sepang pace onto the next test.
The Yamaha is such an accommodating package and he hasn't had to change his style as much as Lorenzo is having to with the Ducati.
Vinales will be a threat and it won't be long before the gloves come off in that garage. Lorenzo will threaten, but needs to continue to adapt.

Despite getting shot of Lorenzo i think this years going to be even harder for Rossi.
Anyway speaking of #46 he's on a kawasaki this year in bsb pretty sure he'll be in the showdown this year.
