These are mostly from the 'dub scene':

Slammed - Lowered
Bagged - lowered with air ride
Shaved - Door handles and other useful appendages removed, filled and painted over.
Smoothed - Usually refers to removing the rear wiper.
Stage 1 - Boost turned up a bit.
Stage 2 - Boost turned up a bit more.
Stage 3 - Boost turned up a bit more more.
Stage 4 - Bigger turbo, and stuff.
Wookie - R32 exhaust note.
Wellycooler - Cheap Chinese ebay intercooler hacked on.
Low cal - California style lowered beetle (air cooled).
SRI - Short runner intake.
Shrek - Schrick variable intake / cams.
Billie B12 - Bilstein suspension kit.
WUR mod - Warm Up Regulator modification on K Jet engines.
Swiss cheesed - Drilling holes in the factory air box.
Bee sting aerial - Standard roof mounted aerial.
Twin rounds - Double lighted GTI grille on the MK1 GTI.

Ruined - Not scene related, but one I like to use to describe most of the above.

Whale tail for Escort and Sierra Cosworths
First use of the term whale tail was for the 911 Turbo (I think)

No, that's a tea-tray, distinguishable by its raised lip around the edges. The whale-tail had the flatter profile as seen on Carreras, like this:

Not quite so, a Welly cooler was so called as a mate of mine called Mr Wellings did a huge write up on fitting universal front mounted intercoolers on Audi Sport net forum years ago when he had a series of Audi S3

Ah, most of the good ones are gone.

Mostly VW ones.

Anchor - VR6 engine, due to their weight, especially the way it made Mk1 and Mk2 Golfs handle when some fool shoehorned one on.
Twentyvalve or 20v, the 5x4 not the 4x5 for the 1800cc engine VAG put in everything in the 90s that again people shoehorned into early Golfs.

Another I've heard - "T-5" for every Police Traffic car since the mid-90s, usually only by People used to being put in the back of them. BWM, Vauxhall, or even Volvo - all "T-5".

My current toy is called "Crazy 8" by the wife and "Noisy Race Car" by the boys. E90 M3

Most my cars have had either number plate, or looks related name. My RX8 was called Daffy as the plate ended in DFY and my oldest said the bonnet looked like a ducks beak.

My wifes last car was called silver boom. As it was silver and bits kept breaking and going BOOM!

Are the different Skyline names nicknames or formal designations? Hakosuka, Kenmeri, etc. There are a couple of examples of Japanese words being used as nicknames; "Kouki" and "Zenki" seem to define the S14/S14a Silvia, and probably apply to other models too.
No they aren't, Hakusoka (KGC10) and Kenmeri (C110). Interestingly Kenmeri allegedly comes from the original advert featuring Ken and Mary.

Zenki and Kouki are most commonly used on the s14 Silvia but can also be seen when another model gets a facelift, this isn't common amongst Japanese manufacturers though.

Hachiroku is literally 'eighty six' in Japanese.

Perhaps not nicknames as such but I've never really understood how later iterations of a model get their different names.

For example, who decided this is a phase 2 V6?:

and why is this a series 2 Elise?

yet this is a mark 2 MX-5.

I think it comes down to what the 'fanbase' defines them as for some of them. Mazda, for example, differentiate with different letter designations - NA, NB, NC and ND to describe MX5 generations, for example. These are colloquially known as Mk.1, 2, 3 and 4. - This may also be what the media/ journos dubbed them

That was the 'Teapot' wasn't it? Not exactly the pinnacle of motorcycle styling.

This appears to be known as a 'whale cock' or 'whale penis' induction system in Honda circles.
