Judging by photos is not ideal, it has more drama than the F12, however it seems to have lost some of the elegance and class that the F12 exudes. As a direct replacement for the F12 it is perhaps overly fussy, however as a replacement for the TDF, it's absolutely perfect. It may look more refined in a darker colour, I always feel that front engine V12 Ferraris look best in dark colours, favourite being the historic colour Blu Scozia.

From the side view, it is as beautiful and elegant as the F12, however the grill will take some getting used to, images of Mick Jagger's mouth spring to mind, and the rear, oh dear the rear, it looks as though it's about to give birth to a F355, which I suppose could be a deemed a compliment!

Looking forward to seeing it in Geneva, I am sure it will look different in real life.

I know looks are subjective but I really like those wheels.

If Mansory or Kahn made a car that looked like that with those wheels, we would be ripping the st out of it.

Doesn't get me excited at all. Getting tired of these cars. Very ugly. And why? Because of 'aerodynamics'? Why need so much aerodynamics? And why even more power then an F12? It will probably also sound very artificial. Please Ferrari, spent the money on a nice elegant design for exterior AND interior (don't they all look like plastic nintendo's on the inside?) and some weightsavings. And this comes from someone who drives a 997 turbo daily and a 550 Maranello in the weekends (the last true manual frontengined V12 Ferrari imho)....
So it took a 800ps front engined Ferrari to wake you from 39 months of lurking....

PH medal required here.

Anyone else seeing Audi A7 for the back of the car?

I'd still have one...
Not at all - the a7 is a hideous, shapeless st, and this is rather attractive. No similarities at all.

I am getting old, I now always prefer the looks of the outgoing cars. FF looks better than GTC4 and F12 better than 812 in my view.
V12 Ferrari are all great anyway and "alternatives" really do not exist.

I initially liked it , but now i think it is way overstayed as the front lights just don't look right. The aero curve on the side looks terrible and the rear bumper looks like the designer ran out of thought....I like the return to twin rear light clusters though.. The singular ones always annoyed me somehow..

However I would by one if i had the money.. in black with tan leather & black Daytona inserts.

In fact I think they have ripped off the Toyota Supra concept design as there are a lot of similarities....

Ferrari returning to four individual rear lights makes me feel warm inside.

It's not conventionally pretty but it's a great looking thing.

Took me a while to like the F12 but the TDF and now this are amazing.

I see a development from the F12 design. Ferrari don't need to 'rip off' some non-existent crap wink

I have yet to see anyone get out of an F12 and not be absolutely gobsmacked - it's the car Clarkson said had "too much power" and the TDF is the car which Harris said "made the argument about manual vs paddles irrelevant because you could not keep-up with a manual"

Whatever the numbers may be - I don't think there are many disappointed owners or even drivers of the things and it's all old-fashioned NA noise...

That 1 lap in which Harris destroyed an entire set of rears suggests to me that the car has sufficient thrust whatever numbers someone may get from it - there are, of course, people who will boost that if you feel the need, although Ferrari seem to be doing that at a rate-of-knots

Woebetide people selling the old ones ofc...

I 100% agree with your comments...The cars are fast enough....time we had something that had stunning design, instead of just aero influenced design
