Normal production replacement for F12.
Everybody is now free to go out and give their local dealer £250k for the latest and most powerful without being turned away because they don't meet the criteria for the limited run cars...
Happy days for all those 'enthusiast' who just want to drive the latest and greatest and are happy to live with depreciation
Not sure I get the 'enthusiast' animosity... £250k is still an awful lot of moneyEverybody is now free to go out and give their local dealer £250k for the latest and most powerful without being turned away because they don't meet the criteria for the limited run cars...

Meh, I find the horsepower wars a bit tiresome now. There's a point where more power and speed is getting dangerous and soon we'll see a reversion to lighter, 'slower', more engaging cars from more manufacturers than just Mazda and Lotus.
I reckon if you put your foot down in that Ferrari, you'd have no option to be fully engaged.... But yes it'll be far too fast for the road, but I'm glad they're making it.

I have to say the side view profile (profile, not details) is very Corvette like...
I'm not being negative towards the 812, It's the great looking car. If anything I am complimenting the 'Vette
Vette is nice, no doubt. I really like the latest Grand Sport, in yellow.I'm not being negative towards the 812, It's the great looking car. If anything I am complimenting the 'Vette
But 812 is sex on wheels.

And this comes from someone who drives a 997 turbo daily and a 550 Maranello in the weekends (the last true manual frontengined V12 Ferrari imho)....
Nope. Last manual front-engined V12 Ferrari was the 612 Scaglietti.Ralphthemouth said:
""Variable geometry intake ducts and new 350bar fuel injection are partly to thank for these outputs""
My 2002 1.9 diesel Audi injects at 2000bar! How come it won't do 200mph? ??
Your diesel works on compression alone - Ferraris use ignition as-well - and it probably would do 200 with the right gears and a LOT of space (so it's not that it won't - just that it can't right-now!) My 2002 1.9 diesel Audi injects at 2000bar! How come it won't do 200mph? ??

Not sure I get the 'enthusiast' animosity... £250k is still an awful lot of money. If you can 'only' afford one Ferrari at a time, who's to say you're less of an enthusiast than someone with a few £m to drop on a dozen?Everybody is now free to go out and give their local dealer £250k for the latest and most powerful without being turned away because they don't meet the criteria for the limited run cars...

On-topic, the 812 - and that engine - both delicious on paper. Look forward to the reviews.
I really want one still, how much more can they turn the wick up on these things after this tho ?
