Looking at my abandoned LSA supercharger on an LS1 project and I'm trying to figure out whether to sell the LS1/2 (cathedral) to LS3 (rectangular) adapter plates with the supercharger or separately. These plates let you put an LS3 intake onto an LS1 (or, as was planned, an LSA supercharger onto an LS1). The LS3 intake is far superior to the LS1 and LS2, and is much cheaper than decent aftermarket intake, so this would be a good upgrade.

My dilemma is this, if I try selling separately and the supercharger goes first, I might not then be able to sell the plates. Equally, though, I'm not sure that they'll add much to the value of the supercharger, as I suspect it'll end up on an LS3 Camaro / VXR8.

Ideas?

Are these the phenolic adaptors you have? You should have no problem selling if they are priced right.

Now you've bought Richard's LS2 R8, you've answered your own question. Make it go as it should and send him pictures.

I think the charger will be a tad on the small side for a 440 stroker.

LS7 style heads, so no LSA on the top.

I did joke about fitting some FI, but I'd have to drop the compression ratio. Not worth it in the long run and cheaper to use the LSX427 I have.

Selling - might bundle one with an engine, though.

Are the plates DIY? Do you have the plans. Not for me but once sold you could offer them for a small fee or free smile

Proper CNC machined aluminium plates with recesses for the rubber o-ring seals. Well over $100 for the set with seals.

That's cool. Just for ls1 owners ls3 intake upgrade or potential charger options could be nice to have access too.
