I had this from new. Great car, but sold it when i was seriously ill, and was not expecting to recover.

It now resides in Scotland and I know the current keeper, so I know its being correctly looked after.

The only one I wish I had kept. Had it for three years.
Got it just the way I wanted it and then sold it.
Replaced it with a SLK 55. Big mistake.
You are not wrong. Clio V6 is a "forever car"

That car is probably worth some serious money now....a true classic.

B7 RS4 Avant. Manual, NA V8 that spins to 8500rpm, AWD for UK weather, big enough boot for a pushchair and a chocolate lab, lovely looking imo and just the right size.

Everything now is either turbo charged, automatic/dsg, huge, and not all that appealing to look at (or looks just like the diesel in the range).

I've found the closest replacement is probably a Golf R manual estate. Please Audi, make an RS3 Estate in manual.
Me too.

07 Avant B7 RS4. Silver with black leather and buckets.

I actually nearly cried as I swapped it for the 535l

B7 RS4 is still a brilliant car, even judged by today's standards.

Clio V6 is just a concentration of lunacy with wheels attached - wonderful beast.

Sold my Vette a few weeks ago to a a fellow PHer after 4 1/2 years of ownership.
I wasn't even intending on selling it, but with the other cars, the cycling and all the travel, I just wasnt using it.
Gutted to let it go but glad it's gone to someone who will use it properly.
For the price, its one of the most awesome performance cars on the road.

You sold it to my brother and he was good enough to take me for a spin in it... bloody hell its loud! Goes like stink though and looks amazing- he loves that car already!
Good, only reason I sold it too him was I knew it was going to a good home.
I bought it from a mate who is a fellow PHer, nice to keep in the the family smile
I sold that to Swerni and regretted it every day. I pestered him to sell it back, but he refused to sell, so I bought another.

Then he sold it.

Still, blue ones are better... biggrin

Pic of an almost identical car. I honestly can't remember why I sold it. It was brilliant at everything apart from conserving its rubber;

Is that a Ferrari badge on the side of the Volvo??!!

I sold my RX8 to pay for my wedding. I still remind my wife of the sacrifices I made, as I still miss it almost 7 years later.

Soon I'll be suffering seller's remorse again, as my e46 330 is up for sale right now. frown

I really regret selling my D reg Porsche 924S. I wanted a 944, couldn't stretch to one, so bought this instead and realised it was actually better, albeit without the Kardashian hips.

It was utterly, utterly mint. Bought in 2000 for 2.7K, owned for 4 years and sold in a classic car auction for 4K. I loved it with a passion. I've had theoretically 'better' cars since then, and definitively faster Ines, but that's the one I wish I'd kept. I only sold it because I changed jobs and was putting too many miles on it. I was worried about ruining it through use, stupid really.

To most women cars are just piece of metal....they just don't understand the remorse, and the sacrifice made for them. On the other hand, some men have other ideas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0S642NtHtE

I've suffered both buyer's remorse and seller's remorse with the same car.

I bought an old Esprit about 15 years ago.

Then sold it.

Then bought it back again.

Then sold it.

Then bought it back again.

The same damn car three times.

It is hopelessly crap and joyfully magnificent at the same time.

I suffered buyer's remorse with my E34. I had just sold a boring, yet utterly reliable and dependable Passat, for a turd of an E34 with every E34 problem under the sun.

However, 3 1/2 years and a fair chunk of money spent I have a car that I have put up for sale (due to buying my E39) but secretly hope doesn't sell, because I know I'll miss the old girl. We've been through a lot together.

Similarly I cried like a baby when I sold my Triumph 2000. I cried again when I found somebody had painted her blue. By hand.

What is it about cars that gets under your skin?
Having just watched my Forester disappear into the sunset with the new owners at the wheel, I can't help but get a little nostalgic, we only had the thing for a shade over three years.....

A car absolutely in its element there. No doubt.
