Firestick not available ?!

Had a Firsetick in the basket at the weekend. Went to buy just now, no longer available. A new one with Alexa available in April, but nothing shipping at present.

How odd to leave such a long gap with no availability...

You can get reconditioned one still, mine arrived today, although it says it comes with a voice remote and it didn't.

I bought a firestick for use with my smart tv - for the sake of ~£30 it's a nicer user experience.

On the other hand, I'd rather the new ones supported HDR (which I assume they still don't) rather than Echo.

Not just Alexa integration - Quad Core CPU too. Should make it noticeably snappier, the older model lags quite a bit with launching apps and scrolling around the interface.
