Shame, the usual lycra keyboard warriors seems to be all over this thread already. Its like they are one persona.

The bicycle in this story was completely incidental, not something you can, or should, all stick your flag on. It would have been the same if she was simply walking.

Isn't going to stop you making it about cyclists vs drivers when its actually about mouth breathers harassing a woman. You've completely missed the point of this video because you are so blinkered.

Just get a life!
Where on Earth did you get any of that from the posts above?

I think you're the problem mate, trying to start an anti cycle post!
He does it every time there is anything about cycling. I'm starting to think his wife left him for a cyclist or something like that.
I am a cyclist you tard.

Apologies it was possibly a bit obscure. I posted the original thread about being held up for 45 minutes by two lycra warriors. Yonex Winston wolf and heebeegeebe are examples of such warriors and took immediate exception, as they do to anyone who posts on cycling matters. They also jump on any thread where a bicycle is mentioned whether its relevant or not. More often not, hence my previous post.

Two males in a van, repeated unwanted advances. Vulnerable road user between kerb and van. I can't condone the mirror damage but really what were they thinking?

If it was just a 'wolf-whistle' and a few cheeky words then I'd say she was OTT but these guys were way over the line and pretty abusive, going so far as the guy having his arm out the window giving her a push etc..

I can't criticise her one bit for losing her temper..

(I think the guy on the motorbike with the camera may have been in bother if his bike had stalled after calling the van guys scum... He wasn't so brave.. biggrin )

That was the worst bit for me, driving closer just so they could grab her? Deserved a lot worse than a wing mirror getting ripped off.

Also that was some impressive cycling to catch up with the van! British Cycling should be in touch.

Clearly not. But lets be honest, when you're dealing with people as thick as many workmen I've come across, what else is actually going to resonate.
Generalising Prick.....
Agreed. Plenty of thick morons are not workmen.
Agreed most of them work in media type with pansy girly hands and not one ounce of common sense wink

'many'

Not all. There is a clear difference. The majority of this sort of behaviour that women I've know have had has been from people working on building sites, in vans and the like. Obviously not all, but certainly most.

Viral marketing company post the most obvious Facebook view/like bating video possible, then sits back & reaps the sweet sweet karma. This is just a clever Viral Marketing campaign, advertising themselves. rolleyes

The blokes in that van got exactly what they deserved.

If anything, she should have done more damage.

The biker was obviously on her side too for good reason. A woman is intimidated and expected to suck it up. When she goes on the offensive back she's suddenly the villain of the piece.

Chasing down and deliberately damaging a vehicle after a verbal altercation? No matter what the provocation, her reaction is out of order.

She seems to have anger issues and needs to be spoken to by the police.

How will she react next time she doesn't like what someone says?
Exactly, a clear case of criminal damage. She must have been on her period !
Why on earth would you say she must have been on her period? Bizarre comment to say the least.

Apparently this could be one of the many STAGED events in order to gain youtube clicks (viral video generation).

It is now being said on social media that there is an 'organisation' behind this video called "Jungle creations", whereby they 'guarantee' videos to go 'viral'.

Nah, I've just realised you're a actually bit of a tt who can't drive for toffee. How would you feel if your ex-wife who left you for a cyclist was touched up by workmen?

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this before (or did they). It's blatantly obvious it was a set up.
