Rustiest Porsche I've ever seen!
Discussion
I like to follow some of the BaT auctions in the US ... especially as they have some level cars on there but occasionally they get something which divides opinion ...

I know the early 911 market has gone daft now but what would a company charge to do the bodywork on this car? Just for my own interest really - I have no idea of the man hours involved for something as labour-intenive as this. Are the panels available or would they have to be fabbed from scratch? And if they are available the cost would not be cheap I guess ...
I saw a rusty gold/beige Porsche for sale by the side of the road down the Pacific Highway over 20 years ago and it was a few thousand dollars - it was an early 70s one from emory, so not THAT early. I did toy with the idea of bringing it back but it was too much hassle and anyway, I was on holiday ...
That boat has well and truly sailed now ...

I've no idea.
There was an article with the photos, but I can't remember the details.
If it has some race history or was a mega rare model, someone might have took it on.
Watched an episode of Jay Leno's garage a couple of weeks ago, and Jerry Seinfeld had a lovely black 356 that was allegedly worth $1million, so the numbers could stack up.
Here are some more photos.
