This might just be me, but I can't help but get a little annoyed when I see an unmodified production car with big silvery plastic 'exhausts' sticking out of the back - Then you look closely, and somewhere inside you can see the actual exhausts that are much smaller (more appropriately sized?)

The biggest offenders IMO seem to be Mercedes. Really don't like the fakery at the back of the AMG GT, which is otherwise gorgeous.

Surely there is an appropriate size of exhaust for displacement/number of cylinders/aspiration

I'd prefer it if manufacturers stuck to that, than than what could be 'my appendage is bigger than yours' one-upmanship...

Any serious offenders?
Any manufacturers being sensible?
