I'm frightened of continuing posting as Juno has taken to finding me in other threads hehe (who does that?!)

I think moveable flaps gives new areas for failure and future maintenance issues....but then so does electric assistance (if not more so).
Using the air though is beautifully simple approach...if the prevailing weather is in favour. head winds and tail wnds and gusts and side winds...
luckily for the Lambo, the did their ring lap in the most favourable of conditions....

OK Lamborghini's are st,its all total BULL LAX I've just sent an e mail to cancel mine, phew that's better biggrin

I no longer defend the brand or give my opinion up against others and Ney Sayers as I could get labelled the next "Rambo" WTF is it with some people on here, do they just come looking for an argument.

As far as I am aware you have to log in and decide which threads to read,if this one is tiresome and pointless then don't fking read it idea

Whatever you do say, be careful Purple... Juno has a penchant for tracking you down in other threads to make comment...
You know if I owned a Performante I'd certainly be more inclined to drive it, secure in the knowledge I own the fastest car in the world!.....as opposed to being so insecure as to troll people on the internet...that don't

anyway... you've been warned wink

To me it looks like to just randomly go around saying everything new is rubbish and st, Ford GT 720s 812 Superfast all st,finished before they started, I think Nigel Forage would some you up quite well "Who are You " ?

And FFS, Quote the new movable flaps are a maintenance issue, are you for real, nearly everything on the planet is actuated by electronics. AND even the weathers a factor??? Do you have a mobile or are you still using string and a empty can, you know just in case the Network should crash,Jeeze byebye

good to see you're still reading opinions you don't like hehe

Again...if you read properly you'll note my opinions about the 812 were based purely on aesthetics in those shots... ok? get it? any further clarification needed? if you have enough time to chase down the other threads I've contributed to, do me the courtesy of getting the whole picture
720....looks
And as for the GT..again predominantly the looks... but I felt quite comfy suggesting the performance might not be on par by the time it hits the road... I mean, it's already WAY behind the HP right?

"It seems to me" you struggle to stand by your own opinions unless bolstered by others...and just get all aggy about other peoples'

and yes I use string and tin cans for my communications...hehe

ahhh you're one of those... you can only have a worthwhile opinion on a car (let alone the looks of one! hehe ) if you own that type of car..."
Jeez...really?
Do you paint Juno? do you have an opinion on the Mona Lisa?
Are you a banker? Do you have an opinion on the economy?
Are you a nurse? Do you have an opinion on the NHS?

What a joke. No sour grapes here son, I got access to fancy cars, I witness and experience them most days as they drive by. I see them every day as I check out the latest press/scoop photos.

Opinions on subjective topics has got nowt to do with anything but what a person likes and dislikes.
I can appreciate engineering, aerodynamics, luxury, technology, tin cans and string... I don't have to own the best of it to have an opinion on it.
Christ by your rules you'd have to own every car to have an opinion on any car hehe

Once you start saying things like that, you lose the argument.

indeed.. the irony huh hehe

poor lad still has trouble reading let alone quoting haha..

aww please Mr Juno sir, let me say my piece if it's ok with you'sir hehe
Yeah sure I'd love a supecar... but it's envy not jealousy.... and if I ever get to a place where I can have one, it'll be one I like the look of, if that's ok with you sir. wink
until then I'm happier being a tad more respectful with my stty car than being what you portray, with a better one..You must struggle to sleep at night knowing there are people out there with a better car than you... right? hehe poor Juno still measuring people by what they own....

Are you sure about that Juno? I was told this is not a limited production car by one of the Lambo dealers. It's only restricted production, as in they won't build them very fast to limit output.

There will be a limited edition model based more on that actual racer coming out in a year or so, this (the Performante) is the "track inspired" model.

I'm getting old. Or simple. Or both.
To me a Lamborghini shouldn't NEED a 'Performante' version, they are, or should be, the ultimate in performance without having to add or remove all sorts of geegaws.
Do I care, as a potential purchaser, that the halo model of the marque goes around some place in Germany a couple of seconds quicker than a Porsche or Ferrari? No, of course not, because although I may have the wherewithal to purchase one, I haven't got the stainless steel cahones and absolute disregard for my own life to even contemplate driving one at 10/10's around the Nurburgring.
Each to their own, both manufacturers and purchasers, but for me this performance arms race is getting mad.
And you can bet that our wonderful governments will eventually outlaw cars like these, and tracks, which will be a crying shame, despite my antediluvian viewpoint.

Hi as far as I know you are correct in that it will be limited by production volumes only, estimate is 1500 max Worldwide but not confirmed. It is a full road spec with all the toys but I cant say exactly what right now,as said I have sat it it but signed a non disclosure agreement yikes

Not heard about a stripped out track version as of yet and the most I know is that a rumored chop top will follow.

I've paid both stage deposits and will spec mine at Geneva next week biggrin

Hope that helps
