Saw one at the top of Edge Hill last weekend, regularly see the 'mules' on the M40 near Gaydon.

no one I know says Donkeys ears....
but I see the slang logic...weird..

Any idea why the DVLA show this as 0 emissions?

Is it because its a development car or are we looking at an electric car?

Just because it's a prototype and they've got no data on it, as you initially thought.
The DVLA site is quite handy for nerding out on Vehicle Registration Mumbers.

Blimey ! I'd never considered that Donkeys Years was actually supposed to be Donkeys Ears and thus slang for years. I guess it makes sense when you think about it.

Mind you, I'm probably the only bloke who thinks when people say "I can't be arsed" they actually mean "I can't be asked" as in "you cannot ask me - I am not prepared to be asked". I'm sure there was a Harry Enfield sketch once with Wayne and Waynetta Slob where he says "I can't be asKed" with a deliberate emphasis on the 'K'

Anyway, I'm off down the Frog and Road........

There was a long discussion about this in another thread; unhelpfully I can't remember which one. I had only ever heard donkey's years prior to that.
